Stroke of Midnight

Beautiful ink that shipped and arrived very quickly, even though it was ordered during a sale in December I received the ink in about 4 days. Very nicely packaged, beautiful ink. I haven't bought a shimmer ink before this one, so there was a bit of a learning curve in learning to shake the bottle before filling, and shake the pen a bit before writing so the shimmer comes out. The color is just beautiful. Writing on a cream paper it looks just about perfectly black until the light hits it.

Arrived in good time, beautiful product and packaging and shipped with care!

This is my second bottle of SoM. It's the only ink I use to write with.

I ordered a selection of inks from Ferris Wheel Press. I got myself a 'limited edition' 38ml ink, a charger set and some of the Ferry Tales inks. I wanted to test both of the fancy shimmer inks and the 'regular inks'

I was completely blown away. By everything. The 'every day' inks were rich and stunningly toned. Swatches online simply do not do these colours justice. The Limited in was an older one but it was still just as gorgeous as the online swatches I've seen.

and the Ferry Tales inks... How do I even start? These are possibly the most magical inks I've ever seen. You never know how it will turn out with the gorgeous shading and glimmer. It shifts as if it has a mind of its own in a good way.

Ferris Wheel Inks certainly take a bit of patience. Wet, you don't see much of the drama but watching the swatch dry is amazing. The colours change before your eyes into something so stunning and unique. I mourn my bank account because I am hopelessly addicted.

Love the colour with that hint of shine. Over all it's a dark blue but not as dark as Dearest Navy.
